    News?

    Being fed just those items that fit within your social networking world is hardly performing the function of a news service. The value of a proper news service comes from the unexpected, surely? Things that excite/delight/anger/annoy/scare/whatever.

    Anyone using this as their main source of news will have an oddly bland view of reality.

    We're forever blowing bubbles...

    Seattle? Check.

    Startup? Check.

    Social media? Check.

    We need more companies likes this. It's the only way the coming tech bubble is going to be bigger than the 1999 one, and if anyone has a hope of learning anything from it, it needs to be.
