    Johnston Press has been haemorrhaging cash and stock price recently, on dwindling newspaper revenues. By November the number of share options required to reach the heady heights of £500,000 might exceed those available in the scheme!

    Not sure one can point to anything that he particularly *did*, and under his watch the UK missed various targets. Took him a while to figure out that video is not the be-all and end-all, too; I guess old habits die hard

      Nothing that a SOCKS proxy cannot sort at a smaller cost than buying a TV licence. Not that I would ever do such a thing :)
