    My 2yo phone already does most of that.

    Wake me when we at least have basic tricorders.

      Wake up! Time to tri .. corder.

      There's at least two tricorder apps for Android, Tricorder and Trycorder. Though their usefulness does depend on what sensors your phone / tablet has.
