    Fools rush in. Few come back out. The trend-hearse is waiting.

    (Just today, MongoDB decided that it shouldn't bother to continue with its work after the disk went full while MySQL on the same disk just recovered gracefully after a rapid file culling operation (don't ask); downtime ensued.)

      Legacy, it appears, has come to mean "fault-tolerance, does error checking, knows what to do in at least expected error situations".
