The web-player is not very functional. I can't skip to the bit I want to hear!

Web player worked okay for me.

As of today, May 4, the web player worked fine for me in Firefox. I could move the slider around and it would skip to different sections.

Juicero was an even worse idea than they talked about on the podcast

It’s been a few episodes since they switched to the new intro music, but I still love it.

I think Peter’s idea of drone-delivered glasses of orange juice is probably just as feasible as the Juicero.

Hackaday had an article about a teardown of the Juicero, based on a very lengthy article on bolt.io. The summary was the Juicero was severely overengineered and the large number of precision custom parts probably accounted for a huge amount of cost both in design and on a per-unit basis. It's interesting to read, but I wonder how many millions were spent on those custom parts.
