    Don't Apple do this everywhere despite not being allowed to. For instance in the UK you are not allowed to have an Recommended Retail Price any more to stop this. However it seems many Apple products remained at the exact same price in every store.

    So companies aren't allowed to set prices on their products anymore?

    Apple doesn't have a monopoly... I don't see a problem.

      Set retail prices at stores that they don't own? For products that aren't "their" products any more, because they've been sold to that retail store? No, they can't do that.
