    Still a pretty big company then.

    But it seems something is going wrong in France. Perhaps a more fascist Frexit minded government will help them.

    I worked in a company in London where they support the IT and as it happens the company I worked at before that used them as well up until a few years ago.

    In both cases their technicians were nice friendly and helpful people. But in both companies the ratio of techies to managers was almost 1:1, and nodoby knew what the managers were actually there for or why there were so many of them.

    Multiple occassions we could hear conversation coming from their management area about the things the company was implementing to cut costs and these things invariably had an effect on the only ones who seemed to do any work - the techies. Day in day out they would order the technicians about and get them to justify what they were doing all day while the managers were sat at their desks having a party.

    It was obvious they needed to look a bit further up the hierarchy to see where money could be saved. It was like watching someone see their car is low on fuel and then drain oil from the engine to make it better.
