    Nokia (the company) formed in 1865 in Tammerkoski Rapids (and later renamed to Nokia), Finland.

    Through a range of acquisitions and diversifications<sp?>, they became one of the top mobile phone sellers in the world.

    I also told anyone who'd listen (most of my friends are not technically minded, damnit) that Nokia will make a comeback...

    Nokia will be releasing 5 new mobile phones this year.
