    Why doesn't it work?

    Losing money? Hemorrhaging financially?

    Buy an online service and piss off the users!

    Billions are spent by major and minor corporations doing just that!

    It"s the financial cure-all for for all your money woes!

    "Does it work?", you ask.

    Well frankly, no.

    But what else can you do? Figure out a sound business plan before, during, and after starting your business?

    I'd expect Twitter to be as profitable as RSS

    I.e. as a stand-alone service, it's not going to be profitable and never will be.

    You just can't make money off some things.
