    And how much will an SC customer have to pay for <80s metal band logo> SRM? Shouldn't the necessary management software come with the product in the first place?

      Yes will be interesting to see how the competing ethics of Dell "all software features are bundled with the price of the tin" vs EMC "if you think the tin is expensive wait until you try to do anything with it" pans out post-merger. We had an account chap in today and he said the respective management teams were only allowed to start talking to each other a few weeks ago, and initially only top level, so it's early days for any product merger work.
