    To be fair, Adobe Flash pretty much gores itself - in this case what the hackers were doing was kicking it while it was down.

      You really can't kick Adobe while it is down. But you can stomp it some more and put a good steel toe in!

        Of course you can- I kick Acrobat reader when it's down quite frequently.

        Whoever thought of putting a scripting engine into a document reader needs to be injured severely.

    The big question is always ..

    .. how many of these zero days were NOT published, but sold to well funded entities (which may or may not be state actors)?

    The best service these events do for us besides discovering holes is creating awareness that security is and remains hard work.
