    My personal biased view.

    I hope the grabbing buggers sink without trace.

    I bought a Lexmark printer once because I was in a hurry and it seemed ridiculously cheap.

    Then I found out it wouldn't take 3rd party cartridges and the ink was stupid expensive.

    Still in the loft somewhere waiting to be thrown out.

    I had a Lexmark Z42 years back, a great printer, tough and fantastic quality print wise. the lack of third party cartridges was a small problem, in the end I just filled them up with ink I got online.

    I stopped using it due to the paper feed failing.

    I use Canons now.

    A strategic factor

    Lexmark impact and MICR laser printers are used by MANY banks.
