    More cloud automation smarts is . . . good. I suppose.

    Could they now please look at bringing in some 'smarts' for their distribution business? They wouldn't need much to up the level of service and usefulness considerably - just maybe a few account managers who know how to read an e-mail without mentally editing out anything that lists required specifications or price. Add to that lot a couple of sales people who understand the phrase "no, we don't buy Lenovo" and one or two industrious folks who could ensure that the promotions they disseminate to customers are also provided to the sales & website teams.

    If they were feeling generous, they might even invest in a small (trial) deployment of those cutting edge devices - a "telephone" so that the teams could talk to each other.

    But who wants any of that boring stuff when you can put: "Now with more cloud!" in you press releases?
