    Telstra may have increased netflix, but at the cost of other streaming apps.

    Twitch.TV is the best example, i never had any problems with twitch on Telstra Cable, since june it's unwatchable during Australian prime. while i can stream a HD netflix video, a 360p video from twitch.tv lags and stutters and then stops. strangely enough though it's only between the hours of 5pm and 11pm that this is an issue, outside those hours it seems to work fine except on the weekends, where it seems to fail from 6am saturday-11pm sunday.

    60th in the world

    Australia is ranked 60th in the world for broadband speeds, so while in Netflix stats we might be compatible, Australia is not at all competitive in regular download speeds of things that are not streaming video.
