    Catch 22

    Qualcomm though its patents has developed a near monopoly on sales of chipsets harming sales and development of better stuff elsewhere.

    This (frand?) licensing scheme needs to be investigated as it intentionally or unintentionally really harmed the ARMs race.

    Innovator or Troll?

    Sadly Qualcomm bought some great companies and binned them, purely to have more 3G and 4G "IP".

    They too much have policy set by lawyers.

    Unlike a fruity company, they have done real innovation and R&D. Sadly though they are bit too much like the Oracle of the Phone Chip business.

    What about the note?

    The note is Samsungs no compromise phone. I just don't see them allowing other android phones to out perform the next note. especially when the 64-bit versions of the kraits are unleashed.
