    Their TAFE web access only works with Exploder. Even Microsoft have seen some light. {S}

    So are government department policies now to be open and transparent? Or is this just providing access to statistics, maps, etc?

    It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

    For years now, since the introduction of FOI (Freedom of Information law) and corruption commissions (in NSW, the ICAC--Independent Commission Against Corruption) etc., public servants et al have a tendency to commit to paper--computer--only information which they absolutely have to so do.

    Much detail associated with decision making now occurs in corridors etc. and remains undocumented.

      I thought decision making was already done at clubs and company provided outings ? So how will it make any difference ? Until pollies and senior clerks cannot accept gifts over $20 at all nothing will change.

    just had to do identity validation on line. Guess which state does not partake ? <sarcasm> OK for federal gov and the other states but not "open" NSW. </sarcasm>
