    Heard about these guys from a buddy that specialises in VM solutions. Tintrí (which translates to "lightning") sound like the second coming for VM shops! Be very interested to see it in action.

    since when has multi-node management meant scalability?

    Does the solution scale outside of basic "single pane" management? Lets not confuse being able to see multiple silos of storage in a single view as scalabilty which is traditionally related to performance.

      What about leveraging storage DRS? Makes more sense for me as an virty arch. Vmware functionality is now ready!

        then you are leveraging an outside function, not something native to your platform. Storage DRS can be leveraged by anyone, thus giving an aspect of scalability. What I'm saying is management != scalability from a performance standpoint and thats what Enterprise is looking for as well as single pane management.
