    Riiiight.

    Someone needs to tell HP that "cutting edge" tech doesn't actually involve an axe.

      Actually it does

      525 staff? On hardware only? To produce a couple of phones a year?

      How many of that were "programme directors", "R&D managers" or various "facilitators" (most facilitating pocket tennis)?

      The axe is probably a little too late here

    So basically they have gotten at least several months long severance. Anybody who was working a product team competing with a me too product against the IPAD2 had to know this was coming sooner than later. Too bad it actually is a decent product at the $250 to $300 price point.
