wtf is this persistance about a title,,if you want a title try arsehole.

"So much for the cloud being the answer to all our data-center headaches."

Possibly the the most realistic comment from an IT journalist in many a story.

Would also like to state that at this moment my space bar has ceased to function on my keyboard, and this has taken 10 minutes to write, and likely 20 quid to replace. Or I could continue to use the onscreen keyboard to my own discretion/confusion/dislike.

    Internet-size scale?

Surely for even the largest site to achieve "internet-size scale", you'd first have to somehow take down every other site on the net?

    Defining terms

    Memcached - A memory-based caching daemon.

Memecached - A meme that's been saved somewhere temporarily, ready to bring it back at a moment's notice.

Memechaced - A meme that's been chaced. I don't know what chacing is but it sounds painful.

    WTF?

    So much for the cloud?

"So much for the cloud being the answer to all our data-center headaches."

The article is about a product that is running on a cloud platform?

    The product has 50,000 subscriptions?

The product is used by a "giant US consumer electronics retailer"?

Yeah, so much for that. What a failure. WTF?
